Why Does My Learning Progress or Level Seem Incorrect?

If you feel like your Learning Recognition Knowledge Points, Milestones, or Level are not showing as expected, this guide helps you understand how recognition on eolas Campus works, and what to do if something looks off.


How Recognition Works

The Learner Recognition system awards you with:

  • Knowledge Points for actions such as completing a lesson, passing a quiz, submitting an assignment, or finishing a course.

  • Milestones for meaningful progress like completing your first course or reaching a new level.

  • Levels that reflect your overall learning journey.

Each element is automatically updated when you are logged in and complete eligible activities. You can view all progress on your personal dashboard at https://eolasinnovation.com/learning-recognition-dashboard/ 


Common Reasons Your Progress May Not Be Updated


  1. Lesson or Quiz Not Fully Completed

    • Points and milestones are only granted when a lesson is marked complete and quizzes are submitted and passed.

  2. Browser or Session Issue

    • Sometimes, your browser cache or login session can interrupt the sync. Make sure you are logged in and using an updated browser.

  3. Time Delay in Recognition

    • While most updates are instant, some may take a few minutes to reflect depending on your connection or device.

  4. Multiple Accounts

    • If you have registered with more than one email, check that you are logged in with the same account you used to take the course.

  5. Old Data Not Reflected

    • The Learner Recognition system began tracking progress in pilot mode in June 2025. While we made a best-effort attempt to manually assign Knowledge Points to activities completed before that period, legacy data may not have been reprocessed with full precision. Some earlier efforts may not be fully reflected unless they were clearly verifiable and matched to system records. Your current progress is accurate from the launch date forward.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Double-check your course activity: is every lesson marked complete?

  • Log out and log back in to refresh your session.

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies.

  • Try from a different browser or device.

  • Verify you are using the correct account email.
