How Does the Compensation Work?

Created by Hans Sandkuhl, Modified on Wed, 4 Dec at 7:33 PM by Hans Sandkuhl

Instructors earn a percentage of the revenue from paid course enrollments. The revenue split is competitive and structured to ensure both instructors and the platform benefit from the partnership. Specific percentages will be outlined in your instructor agreement.

How Earnings Are Calculated

  1. Enrollment Revenue:

    • Earnings are based on the enrollment fees collected from learners who purchase your course.
    • Discounts or promotions applied to course fees are factored into the final calculation.
  2. Platform Fees:

    • A portion of the enrollment revenue is retained by the platform to cover administrative and operational costs, including hosting and support.
  3. Payout Schedule:

    • Payments are typically processed monthly, ensuring timely compensation for your course enrollments.
    • You will receive a detailed earnings report showing the breakdown of revenue and your share.

What About Free Courses?

While free courses do not generate direct revenue, they are an excellent way to build your audience, establish credibility, and attract learners to your paid offerings. Free courses also contribute to the platform’s mission of providing inclusive access to education.

Additional Incentives

In addition to revenue sharing, we occasionally offer incentives for instructors, such as:

  • Bonuses for high-performing courses.
  • Participation in platform-wide promotions.
  • Opportunities to collaborate on exclusive content.

Transparency and Support

We believe in full transparency. Your Instructor Dashboard provides real-time insights into:

  • Enrollment numbers for your courses.
  • Revenue earned.
  • Payment history and upcoming payouts.
