At eolas Campus, we are committed to providing an inclusive learning experience for all users. To support learners with diverse needs, we offer several accessibility tools and features that can enhance your interaction with the platform. Here is how you can use them effectively.

Screen Readers and Text-to-Speech
Our platform is compatible with most screen readers to assist visually impaired users.

  • Popular screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver are supported.
  • Ensure that your screen reader is enabled and updated to the latest version before accessing the platform.
  • Navigate through lessons, quizzes, and dashboards using your screen reader’s keyboard shortcuts.

Keyboard Navigation
You can access most features on eolas Campus without a mouse, using only your keyboard.

  • Use Tab and Shift + Tab to move between interactive elements.
  • Press Enter to select an option or activate a link.
  • Use Arrow Keys to scroll through content within lessons or dropdown menus.

Closed Captions and Transcripts
For video-based courses, we try to provide closed captions and transcripts wherever possible.

  • Enable captions by clicking the CC button on the video player if the option is displayed.
  • Download transcripts, if available, from the “Resources” section of the course.

Adjusting Display Settings
Customize the appearance of the platform to make content more readable.

  • Use your browser’s zoom function to increase or decrease text size (Ctrl + "+" or Ctrl + "-" on Windows; Cmd + "+" or Cmd + "-" on Mac).
  • Adjust contrast or brightness using your device’s display settings for better visibility.

Accessible Quizzes and Assignments
All quizzes and assignments are designed with accessibility in mind.

  • Questions are compatible with screen readers and can be navigated using the keyboard.
  • Timed quizzes include a notification feature to help you manage your time effectively.

Language and Translation Support
To support non-native speakers,  courses may offer multilingual subtitles or downloadable resources.

  • Use integrated browser tools, such as Google Translate, for basic on-screen translation needs.
