At eolas Campus, we want your learning experience to be as comfortable and personalized as possible. Adjusting content display settings can help make the platform easier to navigate and read, especially if you have specific visual or accessibility needs. Here is how you can customize the display.

Zooming In and Out
You can adjust the size of text and images on the platform using your browser’s zoom function.

  • On Windows: Press Ctrl + "+" to zoom in and Ctrl + "-" to zoom out.
  • On Mac: Press Cmd + "+" to zoom in and Cmd + "-" to zoom out.
  • To reset the zoom level, press Ctrl + 0 (Windows) or Cmd + 0 (Mac).

Dark Mode and Brightness Adjustments
While the platform does not currently offer a built-in dark mode, you can use your device’s settings or browser extensions to reduce eye strain.

  • On most devices, activate Night Mode or Reduce Brightness in the display settings.
  • Browser extensions like Dark Reader can create a dark mode effect for websites.

Adjusting Font Size and Style
You can increase or decrease font size for better readability.

  • On Windows or Mac, use the browser’s accessibility settings to adjust text size specifically.
  • Many modern browsers allow you to override the platform’s default font with your preferred style. Check your browser’s settings for this option.

Full-Screen Mode
For an immersive learning experience, switch to full-screen mode.

  • On Windows: Press F11 to enter or exit full-screen mode.
  • On Mac: Use Ctrl + Cmd + F to toggle full-screen mode.

Color and Contrast Settings
If you have difficulty distinguishing colors or reading low-contrast text:

  • Enable High Contrast Modeon your device.
    • On Windows: Go to Settings > Ease of Access > High Contrast.
    • On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Display.
  • Some browsers, like Chrome, offer extensions to improve color contrast.

Customizing Subtitles and Captions
For videos, you can modify the appearance of subtitles.

  • Open your device’s subtitle settings to change text size, font, or background opacity.
  • These settings are often found under Accessibility or Captions in your device preferences.
